From the Editor

A Note from Dr. Abdool

Welcome to the first edition of What's New at Beryllium — a short monthly note with practice updates, mental wellness insights, upcoming programs and resources to support your whole-body wellness.

Mental wellness is whole-body wellness. The mind and brain are connected to the rest of the body, and mental health concerns rarely live in the mind alone — sleep, movement, nutrition, stress, trauma and physical health all shape how we feel.

That is why care at Beryllium looks at the whole picture, and why treatment is individualized: the areas we emphasize depend on what you actually need. If this is the year you want to feel more like yourself, I would be glad to talk with you.

What's New

A few things are new at Beryllium this month.

Our new website

Beryllium Psychiatric Services has a new website. Everything is now in one place — psychiatric care, life coaching, the wellness dispensary and community programs — with clearer information about how care works and how to get started.

Now accepting new patients

Beryllium is currently accepting new patients. Care begins with a complimentary 15-minute phone conversation to discuss your needs and determine the right next step.

Featured This Month

Life Coaching with Dr. Abdool

Life Coaching is forward-looking, non-clinical guidance for life transitions, professional demands and personal goals — clarity, confidence and purpose, with structure and accountability between sessions. It is available nationwide.

Coaching is a separate service from psychiatric care. It is not psychiatric treatment, psychotherapy or medical care, and it does not involve diagnosis or medication. Many people come to coaching simply because they want to move forward with more focus and support.

Life Coaching is not psychiatric treatment, psychotherapy or medical care. If you are looking for clinical care, psychiatric services are available separately for patients in Massachusetts or California.

Featured This Month · Fullscript Medical Dispensary

The Beryllium Wellness Dispensary

Mental wellness is whole-body wellness. At Beryllium, that means considering how nutrition, sleep, movement, stress and physical health connect with how we feel — while keeping every person's care individualized.

Dr. Abdool chose to offer the Beryllium Wellness Dispensary through Fullscript because nutritional support can be one part of that broader whole-body conversation. Patients and community members have a direct, practice-linked way to access professional-grade nutritional supplements, with ordering and fulfillment handled entirely on the Fullscript platform.

Nutritional supplements are not a treatment for psychiatric conditions and are not a substitute for psychiatric or medical care. Anything you are considering should be discussed with your clinician.

Ways to Work With Beryllium

Alongside the two features above, these pathways round out the ways to work with Beryllium. Each has its own page on the website.

Psychiatric Care

Physician-led psychiatric evaluation, medication management and psychotherapy for appropriate patients located in Massachusetts or California.
